One thing that caught my attention was the nuclear plant leaks happening in Japan. There had been an earthquake and tsunami in 2011 and there have been problems since then. Radioactive groundwater had been leaking into the Pacific Ocean. The problem right now is that they don't know exactly where the leak is coming from so they can't immediately fix the problem. There are several solutions that are being considered but they would be very dangerous and hard to go about.

In my opinion, 2011 was a long time ago for this to still be in the process of fixing. There has surly been more leakage which should have been taken care of sooner. I am irritated that not only is it not fixed but it sounds as if they aren't trying very hard to even come close to fixing the situation. Right now the workers are just trying to keep it under control rather than taking action to prevent worse damage. I strongly think they could have taken care of it and solved the issue awhile ago if they tried.
